Kansas City Youth Mercantile Alliance (KCYMA)
A grassroots community initiative designed to bring area tobacco merchants, parents, youth and public policy partners together to reduce the sale of tobacco products to minors.
Suicide Prevention Training
CALM (Counseling Access to Lethal Means) - A 60 to 90 minute workshop designed to aid in reducing the access to lethal means for the time a person is in crisis or jeopardy of a suicide attempt or completion.
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) - Three simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Missouri Department of Mental Health Community Coalitions
|First Call has been providing state-funded prevention programming for 18 years though Missouri's Department of Mental Health's Division of Alcohol & Drug Abuse (ADA).|
|With the assistance of First Call, each team does their own community assessment and develops a plan to impact substance abuse in their area. First Call serves a four-county region including Jackson, Cass, Lafayette and Johnson Counties in Missouri.||
