Participants will learn practical strategies to manage compassion fatigue\, prevent burnout\, and restore balance while continuing to provide high-quality care to others. \nThrough discussion\, activities\, and guided reflection\, this session helps participants reconnect with their purpose\, recognize early signs of stress\, and build a personal care plan that sustains both their well-being and professional integrity. \n \nEmily Hage\, MS\nEmily Hage has been with First Call since 2010 and has served as President & CEO since March 2021. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota in 2008 and 2010\, respectively. During her 14-year tenure at First Call\, Emily has held a variety of roles\, beginning as a Prevention Specialist and later serving as Project Coordinator\, Director of Quality Assurance\, and Vice President of Development for six years. Her extensive experience and deep organizational knowledge are invaluable assets to First Call\, guiding the agency in its mission to support individuals\, families\, and communities affected by substance use. \n \nKeith Faison\, CRAADC\, LAC\, SATOP\nKeith has been dedicated to providing counseling and educational services in the Kansas City area for over 30 years. He is a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC)\, Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional\, Kansas Licensed Addiction Counselor\, and SATOP Certified.Throughout his career\, Keith has worked extensively with the Department of Corrections (D.O.C.)\, DWI and domestic violence offenders\, medication-assisted treatment programs\, and individuals seeking recovery from addiction. As the Director of Organizational Development\, Keith also supervises and mentors professionals pursuing certification in the field\, helping them strengthen their skills and make a greater impact in the community. His deep experience and steady leadership reflect a lifelong commitment to supporting others on their path to recovery and growth. \n  \n \nReggie Jackson\, LSCSW\nReggie has dedicated over two decades to supporting individuals\, families\, and communities through his work in mental health. A passionate advocate for growth and wellbeing\, Reggie earned his B.S. in History from Kansas State University in 2002 and his Master’s in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas in 2009. During his graduate studies\, he studied abroad at the University of Costa Rica and served as a student representative on the KU School of Social Welfare Advisory Board. Before founding Satori Counseling Services in 2014\, Reggie held several leadership roles in nonprofit organizations\, shaping programs that address real community needs. He has led training sessions on mental health\, Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion\, and healthy masculinity\, and has worked extensively with athletes from high school to professional and world-class levels.\nFrom 2015 to 2018\, Reggie shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Kansas MSW program\, where he was honored as Adjunct Professor of the Year in 2018. Outside of his professional work\, Reggie is a proud father of two and a lifelong sports enthusiast. He loves spending time outdoors\, learning new things\, and being with his family. \n \nMargaux Mueller\, CRPS\nMargaux Mueller was born in Kansas City and raised in Phoenix\, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2014 and began her career in the substance-use treatment field\, working with women seeking recovery. After returning to Kansas City\, Margaux joined First Call as a Community Prevention Specialist and discovered her true passion lies in substance use prevention rather than treatment. \nHaving grown up in a home where substance use was prevalent\, Margaux understands the importance of instilling protective factors in children’s lives. She has been working in First Call’s prevention department for nearly eight years and is a Certified Reciprocal Prevention Specialist (CRPS)\, dedicating her work to supporting youth and communities in building resilience and preventing substance use. \n\nLaTanya Dumas\, CRADC\nLaTanya Dumas is passionate about helping people grow\, heal\, and thrive. A proud Kansas City native\, she has spent more than 17 years providing counseling\, education\, and support to individuals and communities across the city. She holds an Associate Degree in Christian Education and is certified in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and QPR (Question\, Persuade\, Refer). LaTanya brings warmth and authenticity to every session she facilitates\, whether leading groups\, providing DBT education for Veterans\, or supporting individuals in recovery and reentry programs. Her experience includes extensive work with the Department of Corrections\, domestic violence offenders\, and those involved in medication-assisted treatment.
