At First Call, we know that addiction to drugs or alcohol is a chronic and progressive disease. The good news is that help is available, treatment works and life in recovery is a wonderful thing. Direct Services

Recovery Advocacy Program 

Our Recovery Advocacy Program is a one-on-one support for any individual thinking about recovery from substance use, or for anyone who is already in recovery and seeking additional support to help them maintain this. For questions or to send a referral please call Ann at 816.800.8051 or email

Reentry Advocacy Program  

The Reentry Advocacy Program provides unique one-on-one clinical support to individuals releasing from jail or prison to the Kansas City, Missouri metro area [Jackson, Johnson (MO), Cass, and Platte counties]. Clients in the program receive recovery support pre-release, as well as ongoing support services as they return to the community. All clinical services are available on a sliding scale fee schedule determined in accordance with federal poverty guidelines.
