No. We connect you to a treatment center that fits your individual needs, and we advocate for you during your treatment, provide support during and after your treatment.
How much do First Call’s services cost?
Most services are free or offered at a reduced cost on a sliding scale. Contact us to learn more about your options.
Do I need insurance to receive help?
No. First Call provides support regardless of insurance status.
Is there a sobriety requirement?
No. First Call provides support regardless. In fact, we know in times of recurrence, you need our support more than ever.
What if I personally do not have an addiction, but know a loved one does?
Most people reaching out to First Call are NOT the individual themselves, but a loved one looking to help. We also offers services to YOU, including counseling, education, and peer groups because we know their addiction affects you too.
Do you have services for youth?
Yes. First Call has a dedicated Youth Counselor. First Call’s youth program provides education and support for young people to help address the underlying reasons for substance use rather than just discouraging use. We provide age-appropriate services to unpack a loved one’s addiction and how it affects that child.

Does First Call offer services in Spanish?
Some services may be available in Spanish or with translation assistance.
What if I’m not looking to stop using, but just use less frequently or in a safer way?
First Call provides harm reduction services, such as free naloxone and substance test strips. We know that those who engage in those services are 3x more likely to eventually reach sobriety. Â

If substance use is affecting your health, relationships, work, or daily life, it may be time to seek support. First Call offers assessments, counseling, and resources.
