OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
First Call understands that the stigma of addiction affects not just the individual, but the entire family unit. In this workshop, we will unpack shame, its impact on our sense of self, and help us begin to reframe our experience in the context of resiliency. Freedom from shame helps us live a more authentic life, undefined by addiction, accept what is, celebrate our strengths, and, ultimately, share our story to help ourselves and others.
We will celebrate our successes, honor our pain and begin to recognize our own resilience. Through our guided conversation, participants will rewrite the narrative of their journey walking alongside addiction. We will leave with an updated perspective of identity that reflects our resilience, allowing us to share our story with authenticity and move beyond the stigma of addiction.
Childcare will be provided.
